foreign policy
As I recall, we have not been attacked since 911 and now Obama's CHIEF Foriegn policy advisor is calling the Bush policy stupid and saying that McCain would continue the "Stupid Policy" that has kept us safe for over 7 years. I guess reality has no place in the Obama campaign when it contradicts the messianic message that Obama is spewing.
This is the same person that said that neither Obama or Hillary were prepared to answer the phone a 3am.
Break out the Rolodex, it's time for CHANGE! :)

Update: NRO has a piece by Jim Geraghty that highlights the confusion in the Obama camp regarding foreing policy. Does Obama disagree with his CHIEF Foreign Policy advisor? Are he and McCain more aligned than his campaign will admit?
It depends on who the Obama campaign are talking to now doesn't it!

Here is the full text of Sen. John McCain's Foreign Policy Speech yesterday, March 26, 2008, before the World Affairs Council in Los Angeles, California:
When I was five years old, a car pulled up in front of our house in New London, Connecticut, and a Navy officer rolled down the window, and shouted at my father that the Japanese had bombed Pearl Harbor. My father immediately left for the submarine base where he was stationed. I rarely saw him again for four years.
My grandfather, who commanded the fast carrier task force under Admiral Halsey, came home from the war exhausted from the burdens he had borne, and died the next day. In Vietnam, where I formed the closest friendships of my life, some of those friends never came home to the country they loved so well. I detest war. read more »

Here is powerful video of Sen. John McCain speaking of the horrors of war, but also speaking forcefully about America's responsibility to finish the job in Iraq rather than following the Democrats' path of precipitous withdrawal - a path McCain said would be "morally reprehensible," and a "stain on the character of a great nation."
McCain made the comments in a major Foreign Policy address today, March 26, 2008, before the World Affairs Council in Los Angeles, California.

Here is video of John McCain's outstanding Foreign Policy Address delivered today, March 26, 2008, before the World Affairs Council in Los Angeles. McCain's address was a sweeping vision of how he would handle Foreign Policy as President, from North America to Latin America, and including his view on the importance of Iraq and Afghanistan as the pillars to forge a new, more peaceful and Democratic Middle East.
We will have significant clips from the speech on key subjects in the near future.
Note: The video begins a few moments into the speech.

Here is a video report on Sen. John McCain's visit to London, March 20, 2008, where he visited 10 Downing Street and also shot back at Barack Obama's recent ridiculing of McCain. From the glint in McCain's eye, it is clear he welcomes a contest on who knows more about Iraq and the Middle East!
