John McCain's latest graphic on Obama's "tire pressure" gaffe continues to turn up the heat and it allows McCain to capitalize on Obama's ignorance in regard to energy. Obama surely did not do the research himself for the remarks he made and therefore he is the puppet of fools. McCain has every right to point that out the American public and he is doing just that.

Barack Obama has outspent McCain almost 3 to 1 and his poll numbers have remained virtually the same since he won the Democratic nomination.

Obama has spent nearly 268 million dollars since his campaign started whereas McCain has spent only about 110 million.

That is a HUGE disparity in the amount of dollars spent on self promotion that has not seemed to work for Obama.

The disaffection is causing glee in the McCain campaign. Carly Fiorina, his most prominent female backer and former chief executive of the computer giant Hewlett Packard, announced yesterday that she was holding further talks with 20 of Mrs Clinton'sfinancial backers.

Clinton diehards throw support behind McCain

By Leonard Doyle in Washington
Tuesday, 8 July 2008

Many of Hillary Clinton's most prominent supporters, including a number of her famous "Hillraisers," are either defecting to the Republican John McCain or withholding their support from the Democratic nominee Barack Obama.

Chief among them is the founder of the Esprit clothing store chain Susie Tompkins Buell who is bitter at what she claims was the sexist treatment of Mrs Clinton by the media during the campaign. "What really hurt women the most was to look back and see all this gender bias," she declared.  read more »

The following is a brilliant idea from a few members of John McCain for President-12 at Meetup.com

http://johnmccain.meetup.com/12/

I urge all McCainiacs to join together at John McCain's official Internet site for a donation, large or small, in order to demonstrate our strong support for our next president.

Fellow McCainiacs,

In honor of our Nation's Independence Day, I would like to propose we have a 'McCain Money Bomb' on July 4, 2008.

Money bombs give people a concrete reason to donate THAT DAY because your donation is doubly effective. By being part of a money bomb, you not only provide funds, but also help build your campaign's morale and show your support!

I propose that members of all the McCain Meetups & blog sites donate $25, $50, $75, or $100 each on July 4th (and to encourage their friends to do the same).

The Anti-Obama Hillary Supporters are already having a McCain Money Bomb of their own on July 4th, so if we also had one, it could be a great day's tota

As we all know, Obama will not be accepting public financing and will be flooding the airwaves with anti-McCain ads from now until November, while John McCain is subjected to strict spending limits. Not only is Obama expected to outspend our candidate 2-3 to 1, but various liberal 527 groups have also pledged to spend tens of millions of dollars.

It is essential that John McCain be able to get his message out so people can hear the truth, not just the Democrat's distortions. And the time to do that is now - during this brief window before our candidate is subject to spending limits.

Please send your donations to https://www.johnmccai....

If maxed out please consider donating to the RNC at https://www.gop.com/D....

Thank you,

Andrea Snell, Rich Varga, Brad Marston

When will the people of Pennsylvania finally have the opportunity to meet and greet John McCain without putting up or raising thousands upon thousands of dollars? Where is the grass roots campaign of 2000 that worked so well, and had the passion which is lacking in 2008.

A PA County GOP Committee Chairman succinctly answered this question after he received an email that county McCain supporters were to donate $50.00 a piece in the hopes of reaching the $1,000 mark in order to buy "Yard Signs!!??" The Chairman went on to say that in larger counties where there are fat cats who can donate large sums, big money is lacking in smaller rural counties such as his own. This gentlemen stated that they relied on having yard signs to hand out at summer county events, and that his particular county yards would be void of John McCain signs due to the ludicrous request from the McCain Campaign.  read more »

John McCain and
Barack Obama
have both reported about 22 million dollars in fundraising for the month of May. This is Obama's worst month yet for fundraising in contrast to this being McCains best.

Is this a trend? It may be too early to tell at this point but should be encouraging to McCain supporters.

This comes as the RNC is stomping the DNC in
fundraising efforts
