Obama on Foreign Policy
Barack Obama played a role in Kenyan politics last year. He assisted a particular candidate (running for the Kenyan presidency) who had frightening connections to radical Muslims in that country. The politician failed to win the election but, after weeks of murder and mayhem, Obama's man was appointed prime minister. The story below was written by Mignon Evans and published in NewsMax:

Obama has released some of the details surrounding his Iraq trip scheduled for some time this summer. It was obvious to most that he would combine his trip to Europe and the Middle East to coincide with his trip to Iraq.
I wrote about it on July 6th in "Obama's Corkscrew Landing..."

Obama Details Trip to Iraq, Afghanistan
SAN DIEGO — Barack Obama is revealing some details about his upcoming trip overseas.
Obama will be heading to Europe, Iraq and Afghanistan. He adds that he’ll be in Iraq to listen, not negotiate. As he puts it, “One president at a time.”
The Democratic presidential candidate says he’ll travel with two Senate colleagues, Republican Chuck Hagel and Democrat Jack Reed. Reed was an Army Ranger. Hagel earned two Purple Hearts in Vietnam. Both have been mentioned as possible Obama running mates.
Obama says he also hopes to resolve German officials’ concerns about using the Brandenburg Gate as a backdrop for a speech in Berlin. The chancellor questioned whether the historic backdrop should be used for a foreign politician’s campaign speech.
The Democratic presidential candidate spoke as he was heading to California, where he’ll address the National Council of La Raza. Republican rival John McCain, who is taking today off, addresses the Hispanic group tomorrow.

McCain Hits Obama [Kathryn Jean Lopez]
In Chicago right now:Before I begin my prepared remarks, I want to respond briefly to a comment Senator Obama made yesterday about the threat posed to the United States by the Government of Iran. Senator Obama claimed that the threat Iran poses to our security is “tiny” compared to the threat once posed by the former Soviet Union. Obviously, Iran isn’t a superpower and doesn’t possess the military power the Soviet Union had. But that does not mean that the threat posed by Iran is insignificant. On the contrary, right now Iran provides some of the deadliest explosive devices used in Iraq to kill our soldiers...
...Senator Obama has declared, and repeatedly reaffirmed his intention to meet the President of Iran without any preconditions, likening it to meetings between former American Presidents and the leaders of the Soviet Union. Such a statement betrays the depth of Senator Obama’s inexperience and reckless judgment.
Not only is McCain blasting Obama for his rookie statements, some of Obama's fellow Democrats have scolded him as well.

"Three prominent Democrats yesterday rejected Sen. Barack Obama's position of meeting unconditionally with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and leaders of other American enemies." -- The Washington Times

This is just a real zinger. Obama's foreign policy advisor says that neither Obama or Clinton is capable of answering the 3:00 am phone call. She says it in the video below at about the 37 second mark:

703-650-5550Statement By McCain Communications Director Jill Hazelbaker In Response To Senator Obama's Foreign Policy Advisor's Comments On Preparedness For 3 A.M. Phone Call
ARLINGTON, VA -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today released the following statement by Communications Director Jill Hazelbaker in response to the assertion by Susan Rice, Senator Obama's foreign policy advisor, that neither democratic candidate is ready for the 3:00 a.m. call:
"At a time when our country faces an unprecedented range of international challenges and opportunities, the American people want a president who is prepared to lead our country in a dangerous world. Senator Obama's foreign policy adviser said today that neither Senator Clinton nor Senator Obama is ready to answer a 3:00 a.m. phone call during an international crisis. We agree wholeheartedly that neither Senator Clinton nor Senator Obama have the experience or judgment necessary to lead the United States in the struggle against violent Islamic extremists who seek our destruction, or to address the complex global environment that our next president will face. Only Senator McCain is ready to serve as commander in chief from day one."

As the Mainstream Media rushes to Barack Obama's defense once again over the photo that appeared yesterday on the internet of Obama dressed in African / Islamic-looking clothing, they have yet to talk about another photo that is truly disturbing. Agreed, Obama visiting an African nation and trying on their native dress is nothing of substance. But a picture of Barack Obama, a sitting U.S. Senator in 2006, visiting Kenya to make speeches in behalf of a Marxist-leaning opposition leader seeking to take power there, IS a disturbing photo.
This photo (below) shows Barack Obama with Raila Odinga, a radical opposition leader in Kenya who was educated in Marxist East Germany and is clearly Marxist/Socialist leaning in his politics. Odinga calls himself a "Social Democrat." He claims to be the cousin of Barack Obama, from the same "Luo" Kenyan tribe as Obama's father, and amazingly Obama went there in 2006 and advocated on his behalf! Below is part of an article published in the New York Sun back in January 2008, which details the connection between Obama and
Odinga. As you will read, Odinga has also been accused of making a deal with the radical Islamic element in Kenya in exchange for their political support.
Inexplicably, despite 20 Democratic Debates over the course of an entire year, no reporter has been courageous enough to ask Obama why he supports a Marxist/Socialist like Odinga in Kenya. Is that going to be indicative of his foreign policy if he is elected President? When you take this disturbing association with Odinga, couple it with Obama's desire to precipitously withdraw from Iraq - effectively turning Iraq over to Al-Qaeda when our U.S. Forces have them on the run, and add to it his announcement he is ready to negotiate with thugs like Ahmadinejad in Iran, Raul Castro in Cuba, and Hugo Chavez in Venezuela - without preconditions, you are left with an extreme leftist candidate whose ideology could very well put the United States and our allies in great danger.
It's time for someone, anyone, in the media to pause with the adoration of Obama long enough to ask the hard questions of him - for the good of America. Here is part of the article by Daniel Johnson entitled, "The Kenyan Connection":
We must all hope that, like King's, Mr. Obama's dream is "deeply rooted in the American dream." But before giving him the keys to the White House, Americans might like to know a little more about the content of Mr. Obama's dream.
Let me propose an unlikely place to start looking: Kenya. Even in the midst of the primaries, the horrific scenes from that country since the disputed election on December 27 will not have escaped most people. In particular, the burning of a church with up to 50 men, women, and children inside, while machete-armed mobs slaughter up to 600 more people, have evoked memories of the Rwandan genocide of 1994. read more »
