McCain to announce VP by Friday the 29th; Obama is set

By next Friday, we will officially know who the running mate of John McCain will be for this up-coming election, I can hardly wait, it's hard to tell - who might be the selection, as the GOP has so many good choices' to VEEP from this year, including :
Mike Huckabee
Mitt Romney
My favorite - Sarah Palin
Bobby Jindal
Joe Leiberman
Pawlently
Eric Cantor
and several more.

The Democrats on the other hand, it appears B.O. has picked Senator Joe Biden, a faily well-known senator.
The Republicans must up the ante.

Shockingly, no body has any idea who McCain will pick, and for some-know reason the media keeps putting Ridge on the list of possible VPs, but he supports the pro-choice agenda - something McCain says he will not pick a VP who support pro-choice, its political suicide.

I am pulling for Mrs.Palin to be selected as VP, but quite frankly - I have no idea who the nominee will be.

Tom Ridge is a good choice.

Tom Ridge is a good choice. Not for the right-roots, no, but for the millions of ordinary voters who want solutions to problems AND, maybe, for a critical mass of voters in Northwest PA who currently favor BHO -- Tom Ridge represented NW PA in Congress with distinction for several terms before being elected Governor.

Re Ridge Good Choice

Mass Mouth
Ridge's Pro Choice stance cancels out whatever he did in Congress or as Gov. McCain will win win PA without Ridge.
I like Ridge and would be OK with him as VP but most conservatives would consider it a huge negative and contrary to what McCain said today when he said that his choice would reflect his views on the subject.

Ridge will not be selecting members of SCOTUS. McCain will.

Doesn't matter to me what

Doesn't matter to me what the "conservatives" think. They've had their day -- Terry Schiavo was the last straw. Plus, I don't need some moral busybody using government to tell me how to live my life, and neither do most people in America need such.

I am not at all convinced that Big Mac will win PA. Recemt election results don't show it. Plus if there's any state in which BHO's people have registered big numbers of Urban Voters, PA is it.
