What is going on??
Does John McCain want to lose the election?
He is handing the election to BHO.
When is he going to get tough?
He is letting BHO walk all over him.
Why isn't he saying that BHO and all his cronies (some still working with him) were involved with the disaster in the economy ie; (Fanny, etc.)??
Why did he say that he would give Gore a job?
We do not want Gore any where near the White House.
Is he giving the election to BHO?
The next debate, he better be fiesty and respond to BHO.
He has to tell the American people about BHO associations.
The press and media won't do it, so he has to.
Sarah lit the fire on Thursday and on Friday,McCain put it out.
All her hard work for nothing.
Why pull out of Michigan?
He is doing exactly what BHO wants him to do, give up!!!!
Why show BHO that he defeated you?
Let Sarah go to Michigan.
Tell the American people what he is doing in Ohio.

The media and press won't the American people.

people, they will walk over you.

does he listen? NO!!
They are all telling him what to do to win this election.

Getting very frustrated with the polls going down and down
and John just sits there doing nothing.
Getting very angry at him because he has no spunk.
How can we get him to listen?????
All day long, all I heard was him saying one stupid thing after another.
When is he going to take the gloves off and go after BHO?
As soon as something happens, BHO is right there saying something about it.
McCain, who knows where he is?
He never responds to any thing Bho says.
I am getting tired of typing, but I had to get my frustrations out.
McCain is depressing me. Sarah makes me feel good one day and the
next day he depresses us by saying something stupid.

I have written emails to the McCain site almost begging him to get tough...to do as he says he will...take names....kick 'butt'....this is NOT the time to be bi-partisan. He can be bi-partisan after the election if he chooses. I just simply have lost faith that he has the energy and the drive to defend his positions and his convictions. He fought against communism in the Vietnam war but he won't fight this socialist now. I just don't understand. If he truly wants to be President he had better start pushing Obama's buttons and show him up for the fraud and deviant he is. It is time for the patriotic war hero to pounce out and land right on Obama's head! I am going to vote for Sarah Palin....sadly....because I should be thrilled about the joint ticket. It is literally making me ill to think that my country will be governed by that jackal, Obama, and that the only weapon against that happening is a lackluster memory of the man McCain....John McCain. Does he not get it....this is his LAST chance to EVER be President? If he wants it....then he needs to follow the examples of the military....do or die...get 'er done!

The next time Obama mentions that you said - " the fundamentals of our economy are still strong ", you need to point out that ;
1. Without a strong ECONOMIC BASE, we will NOT recover. If the fundamentals are NOT strong, how will we RECOVER from this crisis ?! ( by raising taxes as Obama plans to do ??? )
2. It AGAIN, demonstrates IRRESPONSIBILITY from a person in a LEADERSHIP ROLE to scream and cause PANIC about how poor the
economy is. ( just like saying the troops are air-raiding villages and killing women and children ). Such inappropriate actions undermine efforts to do things the right way, as they cause panic and rash decisions to be made, not to mention demoralizing people's hopes.
The next time Obama tries to compare you with or tie you to Bush and his policies, you need to STATE : MY NAME IS JOHN MCCAIN -
NOT GEORGE BUSH. It will be very helpful for people to HEAR YOU distinguish yourself from the President. Point out a time ( or times ) when you voted AGAINST Bush. Also, you need to EXPLAIN CLEARLY and INFORMATIVELY exactly how you DIFFER FROM BUSH. ( GIVE EXAMPLES )
When Obama talks about HIS voting record, you need to ASK HIM - HOW DID YOU OPPOSE BUSH , WHEN ALL YOU HAVE DONE IS VOTE PRESENT ? HOW DO YOU EFFECT 'CHANGE' WHEN ALL YOU DO IS VOTE PRESENT ? He has spent MORE
time running for president, than he has making ANY CHANGE or ANY DECISIONS in WASHINGTON. This is not Leadership.
HIS distric in CHICAGO is still a SLUM. How has he CHANGED it ? He HAS NOT, because he cares more for his own AMBITION than for those DEPENDENT on him.

You need to point out that a piece of legislation he actually has sponsored WILL BE DEVASTATING for the COUNTRY and ECONOMY NOW. The ' GLOBAL POVERTY ACT' needs to be defeated, and shows Obama's lack of understanding about the ECONOMY. Good intentions that risk the economy and security of the American people are the WRONG type of LEADERSHIP we need NOW. It is time for America to take care of ITSELF. Sending a TRILLION dollars to other countries is not REALISTIC, when we need to
fix our INFRASTRUCTURE and economy.
Obama will be looking to take credit for the increase in FDIC coverage regarding the new bail-out bill. While it is helpful, it is
MEANINGLESS if the Treasury does NOT HAVE THE MONEY to back it up !
As for the crisis, you need to make it known that this all has it's roots back in 1995, when CLINTON loosened the reigns to allow loans to be given at will, with no real qualifications. You also need to make known that the current administration did try to STOP this, but was BLOCKED by the DEMOCRATS ( where was Obama ?? voting PRESENT ?!! ) Most of the Dem's were on the TAKE ( recieving money from Fannie and Freddie - Obama #2 on that list ).
Then, YOU co-sponsored legislation in 2005 again, to try and stop Fannie and Freddie but the bill was again BLOCKED by the DEMOCRATS. ( where was OBAMA ? Voting PRESENT ??!! or too concerned with his own ambition ? ) It needs to be HAMMERED HOME that the DEMOCRATS are the one's who BLOCKED REGULATORY LEGISLATION. The Bush Administration tried TWICE and you also tried to pass REGULATORY REFORM, but the DEMOCRATS blocked ALL ATTEMPTS. ( Again- where was Obama ?? Voting PRESENT or along party lines ?? )
Your healthcare plan is certainly different than the Bush administration. Obama's healthcare plan is DELUSIONAL.
There is NO WAY in this enviroment and with this economy that he can implement universal healthcare. How can he possibly pay for it ?!! ( without raising taxes- on everyone - in some manner ..? ) ALSO, how will it impact healcare PROVIDERS ? The FREE MARKET is what drives our healthcare advancement and ingenuity. TAKE THAT AWAY and it may well be
disasterous. Hospitals will close, jobs will be lost. ALSO how will it be MANAGED ? By MORE GOVERNMENT BEAUROCRACY ?!!
If the public hates HMO's, the governemnt will become the ULTIMATE HMO ! Medicaid and Medicare are a mess and Obama wants to take over healthcare completely ?!! Absurd. They have NO ANSWER for this, except to say ' if we can figure a way to have 700 billion for the bailout, we can find a way for universal healthcare. What kind of PLAN is this ? It is NOT LEADERSIP.
I understand the need to point out his shady associations, however, I would keep this to a minimum. They will retort with the Keating 5, and about Rick Davis. What is more important to tie into this, is the fact that Obama is a SOCIALIST and this is the wrong direction for our DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC. Obama's VIEWS and programs are a move towards SOCIALISM. Taking from the 'rich' ( those who create jobs ) and GIVING money to the poor does nothing to further PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.
It only creates a WEALFARE STATE. Obama's soloution for everything is MORE GOVERNMENT. How can he possibly do all this with our economy in trouble and when the TRUTH is that government needs to be SCALED BACK ?
Other things that should be kept to a minimum ; War ( P.O.W. ) stories and referring to yourself as a 'Maverick ' . Sorry but both are becoming negative stereotypes. Keep to ISSUES. Obama will also be unable to keep any promises he has made regarding Education. He is ALL REDERICK and PROMISES not based in REALITY.
Lastly, remember to be forceful, emotional and passionate. Any time Obama mentions his opposition to the Bush administration or tries to tie you to it, you need to ASK HOW DID Obama OPPOSE Bush ? ( by Voting PRESENT ? or was he too busy with his campaign to notice ?? )

That he is saving this up. Trust me, I think the campaign will pull out all the stops and things will start to heat up next week. Let's hope. You don't want McCAin to peak too soon; but you can't let Obama run away with this thing.

It seems that we have all had this sentiment in the last day or so. And, according to the top blog right now, it appears that maybe someone has finally gotten through to McCain because they're promising to take off the gloves now. Maybe they have just been biding their time...waiting until it's too late for the Obama campaign to do damage control. I HOPE this is what they've been planning because it's the 11th hour and it's time to get this campaign moving again. The polls are making me SICK and I too cannot stand the thought of that (insert appropriate derogatory word here) leading our country...much less our MILITARY!

Are you nuts? How do you think going extremely negative, which the average voter is TIRED OF, is going to have any effect? McCain and Palin are already walking talking contradictions, saying how he's going to reach out to Dems and then personally slam them all, it's just obvious that he is in over his head, he's lost his bearing, and picking Palin was a move of desperation that is doomed to fail.
People can sense desperation and fear, and that's the vibe that is coming off of the McCain/Palin campaign.

'americanjoe', I would love to say that I agree with you, and in a perfect world I would. The reality is however, that while Americans 'say' they don't like negative campaigning; it works.
Besides the fact, the Obama Messiah who said HE would not engage in negative and deceptive advertising has taken HIS gloves off. With the little time that is left, McCain has no choice but to get fierce.
Don't count him out yet folks though. He was almost out in NH and now he's our Nominee. Instead, volunteer at the victory offices and get the word out.

He's taking him on on his record. He's talking about how much Obama's programs will cost. And more. Much, much more.
