Here is video of Sen. John McCain telling the moving story of how he refused early release as a POW because it would not have been right to do so and leave other longer-held POW's in captivity. He told the story to illustrate his commitment to always "put his country first." McCain made the pledge to a Town Hall Meeting crowd of over 2,000 in York, Pennsylvania on August 12, 2008.
