Obama's People Don't Even Know what He Stands For
I have to give Michael Goldfarb credit. Since starting The McCain Report he has been very busy exposing Obama gaffes, myths, lies, and other sordid details surrounding the Obama Campaign.
From today's offering:
What Will Obama Do to Bring Down Gas Prices?
Don't ask Minnesota State Senator and Obama surrogate Kathy Saltzman...she has no idea either. If you revisit Kirk Watson's epic defense of Obama's legislative record, you'll note the similarities.

The fact is, it's getting too easy to point out Obama's faults. The closer he get's to the convention the worse things become. I've heard it said in other places and I agree that it is not impossible that Hillary Clinton may be standing on the podium at the Democrat Convention thanking here supporters for selecting her as the Democrat nominee.
How fun would THAT be?

I agree
That is why she is not releasing her delagates lol. I think she is going to be the nominiee. She is probley waiting for him to implode.
MSNBC Clip
That was great. Chris Matthews gave the Texas State Senator no room to get out of that one. The guy could no name one accomplishment by Obama in the US Senate. Of course, Olbermann tried to defend him, albeit weak and even he saw the futility in it.
On paper, a generic Democratic candidate beats a generic republican candidate by a fairly sizeable margin. Obama makes this a competitive race due to his MANY faults. He's unilaterally now pulling out the race card, this is really going to bite him down the trail in the next few months. So much for the self proclaimed post racial candidate he claimed to be.
And McCain is the best person Republicans could have hoped for in the current political climate.
But the media is so in love with Obama they have given him a pass on so many occasions. I just hope Americans see Obama for who he is as opposed to the manufactured image many are buying into. Even the DNC fell for it. That will cost them a lot. They disenfranchised a lot of Hillary supporters over it. Say what you want about Hillary, I disagree with her on many other issues, but she's got a lot more experience and judgment than Obama and is tough as nails when it comes to Iran.
If this makes any sense, if this was a guaranteed Democratic victory in November, I'd feel a lot better off with Hillary in office than Obama.
Media? Money? 527's? We don't even have friends at Fox News
Yes. Even Fox seems to be slanting towards Obama. I watch it every night and most mornings. Through the Primaries, Fox was the only station that gave voice to the appalling tactics of the Obama campaign against Clinton and who allowed those people he villified a chance to speak. Now that we're on to the general election, most Fox shows are giving Obama--not a free ride--but a ride with the majority of guest talking heads who defend even Obama's most abhorent of statements and positions and there's only pro-McCain commentary added to the Fox anti-McCain stories about 2/3rds of the time (OK. OK. This isn't scientific, but when you watch things as closely as I, you see trends and that's my guestimate).
For example, Bill O'Reilly has consistently slanted his guest list and his commentary as anti-McCain and he consistently minimizes things that some of us "folks" take very seriously. O'Reilly said over and over again that Rev Wright was a non-issue or it was not important. He recently said that the public financing pledge was not important. Last week when the Obama commercial about John McCain wanting to kill that woman's baby (and which, BTW, also insulted and demeaned every American service person and their parents), O'Reilly had a representative from Huffington Post (IF you can find a more disgusting group of far-left nut cases, I'd like to learn about them)as his ONLY commentator and O'Reilly's comments on the ad about baby Alex and another one that portrayed ALL Republicans as NAZI-like neaderthals who are racist, stupid, heartless and love murder and war--O'Reilly's response? He thought they were funny. He laughed at them. THAT was it. So Moveon.org got some lovely air time with due praise from the far left. And the new, cleaned up, all American Obama commercials? O'Reilly thought they were very nice--as did 95% of the commentators on Fox. No talk of Obama's chammilion or out right cynical manipulation. None (except from Hannity).
Last night O'Reilly talks about energy policy and calls all politicians--Republican and Democrat--bums and then brings in two Democrat "strategists" who defend Obama's policies and generally just make the Democrat point that McCain is Bush. The McCain policies are then semi-defended, not with an energy expert from the Republican side, but with a Fox business channel guy who obviously doesn't support McCain either (Anwar, folks---that's IT).
Then we have this piece that was touted as "do college kids understand Obama's policies." No Republican and the two kids he had on were allowed to delineate Obama's "superior" health care proposals and his "superior" tax proposals. They portrayed McCain as heartless and a dupe of the super wealthy. O'Reilly isn't knowledgeable enough to challenge either of them. His lame response about the health care thing was that now we have to house everyone and feed everyone. (Er, duh, Bill, we already do!) Why didn't he point out to this girl that 25% of those people without insurance are illegal aliens? Why didn't he point out that most of the children without health insurance are without because their parents won't take them and sign them up for it?
And the tax thing? O'Reilly simply defended his right to be rich and not taxed at 50%---he didn't bother to point out that the math just doesn't work when the tax increases are balanced against the new Obama spending proposals. He didn't bother to mention that Obama could tax the "rich" at 100% and there wouldn't be enough to cover Obama spending. (and WHY is NO ONE mentioning that confiscatory taxation means the money will just be sent off shore and someone needs to read up on the "talent drain" and the "brain drain" in the UK when they tried confiscatory taxation? AND why didn't Mr. No Spin just ask the kid, "OK. If you think the government should control the amount of income one can earn, why don't you just give us an upper figure on individual income? Why not just say: no one in the US will earn more than $500,000. Anything over that, the government will take.")
And then he brings up this Phleger/Wright thing (that he says is unimportant), but only because Phleger mentions O'Reilly's name.
Even the "body language" segment gave O'Reilly a chance to slam McCain's appearance on the Kimmel show (his smile didn't come up to snuff according to his guest and O'Reilly insinuated that McCain had writers so he really isn't witty or funny.)
Bottom line? The above is absolutely typical of O'Reilly. He definately doesn't like McCain and is doing everything he can to spin every story for Obama and his supporters.
The rest of Fox? Charles Krauthammer is the ONLY commentator whom we McCain supporters can consistently depend on for intelligent, historically accurate evaluations. All the conservatives on Fox are obviously holding their nose, and are as quick to go negative on McCain as they are Obama. During the primaries, I expected reduced coverage on McCain. Now? Obama stories dominate and they're mildly negative to neutral to outright positive. McCain commentary? Negative to neutral.
Obama declares that Republicans are all racists and anyone who votes against him are racists and Fox news covered it, but the commentary was mild and limited. McCain's assistant, Black misstates that a "terrorist attack" would be better (good?) for McCain's candidacy than for Obama's and it's been the biggest thing on Fox news last night and this morning and you'd better believe that it's all been bad.
Bottom line? Obama scares me to death and it's nothing to do with his color and everything to do with his Marxist history and Marxist foreign policy and Marxist domestic policy and his overt racism and lack of character. It scares me to death that we are about to elect a president who couldn't get a top secret clearance, or a clearance to work in a nuclear power plant or even be accepted as a NY City cop because of his shady associations with terrorists and admitted anarchists. But this guy and his dopey friends will have access to every classified document in this country.
We are opposed by all TV channels, conservative talk radio, the far left. We have no money and no 527's to fight the McCain wants to kill my baby type ads or counter the sleazy claims that McCain betrayed our country in the Hanoi Hilton. Conservatives would rather give up their country than give up on part of their agenda, so they're staying home or casting a throw-away vote for Barr or Ron Paul. Obama Democrats are willing to say anything as often as it takes to get their guy in and there's no one on McCain's side to tell the truth. We're broke, but even if we weren't, McCain's going to be outspent on all fronts at about 5 to 1. No help in the media. And an American electorate who is apparently falling for the lies, the about-faces and the blatently racist rhetoric of Obama. The odds? Bad. So we're *u*ked--and I mean this country, not just our candidate.
Can you tell I'm discouraged? I love this country, and for the first time in 63 years, I'm scared spitless for our future. I've watched the far left TRY for my entire adult life to destroy our institutions and take our liberties. I think they are about to succeed, and it's not even been 35 years since the Berlin Wall came down. The George Soros/Barack Obama team is going to sink everything we as Americans hold dear.
Sincerely,
A Fear-monger for good reason
