Palin Has Visited Iraq War Theater; Visited Wounded Troops in Germany -- Unlike Obama

It turns out GOP VP Nominee-to-be Sarah Palin has been to the Iraq Theater of Operations. She made a trip to Kuwait to visit Alaskan National Guard Troops serving there in July 2007.
She also has been to Landstuhl, Germany to visit wounded soldiers - unlike the decision of Barack Obama on his overseas trip to skip a visit to wounded soldiers since he could not make a media event out of it. Do I hear a new McCain-Palin ad coming?

Looks like Sarah Palin's Foreign Policy experience is more than a match for Barack Obama.

Grade the VP pick
Go grade McCain's VP pick at my site.

Why not let the polls do the grading?
The important thing is not what we think....we've debated that ever since the announcement was made. The important issue is what kind of bounce will we get in the polls? Was this bold move on the part of McCain enough to put us in the lead in key "battleground" states that are now "neck and neck" as well as to give us more "breathing room" in the "moderate" to "strong" red states? Is this the shot in the arm that our campaign needed to turn "blue" states "red"?
Those are the important questions....not how those of us on this blog feel about Sen. McCain's choice. Those questions can only be answered by the national and state polls in the upcoming weeks.

Didn't need THIS shot in the arm, as you call it. Were doing quite well already. Were WINNING the Experience argument hands down. But you are right, for the time being. The polls will tell. I suspect that they'll look pretty good...for a couple of weeks. Then ? We'll see.
Sarah Palin visited wounded
Sarah Palin visited wounded Alaska National Guard troops overseas ? That is interesting. So how come John McCain didn't get to know her ? Reports are that he's only met her in person ONCE.
