Video:McCain and Palin Together Confront Couric on "Gotcha" Journalism

Here is a snipet of video from Katie Couric's interview with both John McCain and Sarah Palin. McCain lets Palin speak for herself for the most part. Katie is trying to highlight what she thinks is a Palin gaffe regarding Pakistan, but as Palin explains, "Never would OUR administration get out there and show are cards..."(in regard to incursions in to Pakistan)

That statement is in line with what McCain has said regarding Pakistan and whether or not we would cross it's borders to persue terrorist. The fact is we have already done so if you believe the stories about our Predator Drones taking out Al Qaeda in Pakistan.

Obama came right out and said he would attack Pakistan with or without Pakistan's approval.

Obama said if elected in November 2008 he would be willing to attack inside Pakistan with or without approval from the Pakistani government, a move that would likely cause anxiety in the already troubled region.

"If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will," Obama said.

I garantee you that Musharraf knew it before our hell fire missles entered Pakistan.

UPDATE: 09:00Pm EST
I just watched the video again and caught something that I missed the first time.

Watch again and listen to what Sarah Palin tells Katie starting about the 20 second mark.

She says, "We had a great discussion with President Zardari as we talked about what America can and should be doing together to make sure that the terrorists do not cross borders and do not ultimately put themselves in a position of attacking America again or her allies and we will do what we have to do to secure the United States of America and her allies."

Sarah is telling Couric up front that she understood the relationship between Pakistan's new President and the USA before she made her statement to a voter's question about crossing the border to confront terrorists. Obviously she felt there was some sort of understanding between her and Zardari.

This tells us some of what was discussed in the meeting between Palin and Zardari. Since the details of the meeting were not reported, THAT [What Palin had discussed with Zardari] should have been the headline of the story.

Check out the Couric reaction shot to McCain!

Watch Katie's eyes go "blink" five times in rapid succession at about 2:50 in, after McCain says, "This is not the first time that I've seen a governor being questioned by some quote, 'expert'. I remember that Ronald Reagan was a 'cowboy'..."

LOL!
