Getting Stupid with it?

This guy used to be my favorite actor. I don't know what the heck he was thinking here. He goes on the show to promote his latest movie. Can you imagine the reaction of folks working with him now to promote his new film when he said the line that I highlighted below? You could almost hear their hands slapping against their foreheads..doh!

Needless to say, I am very disappointed in Will Smith. I could care less who he supports for President, that's his right. But when he goes and makes that statement above, he makes an ass of himself. Here's a guy who's made a fortune in music, tv, and all his movies. Yet there he is stating that it's not a good to thing to be an American until Barack Obama comes along?

I wish Lauer had the sense to ask him about all the ideas "that come out of" Obama's pores. I'd love to hear which are the ones that Smith agrees with...
